Nao Tsuda

Photographer. Born in Kobe in 1976. Traveling the world, Tsuda gazes through the viewfinder and translates the relationships between people and nature that have continued ceaselessly since ancient times. To discover a world that provides us with hints of accumulated layers of culture, Tsuda turns his attention to the invisible element of time. He has participated in numerous exhibitions since 2001. In 2010, he received the Minister of Education Award for New Artist in Fine Arts. His photo books include Smoke Line and Storm Last Night (both published by Akaaka), Sameland (limArt), and most recently, Elnias Forest (handpicked).
